Day 10 in the Woods

i had been attempting
to delete a video story
from my Facebook feed,
when it occurred to me
my long-lived story
may be difficult
to delete,
for after a lengthy time
a story may become
who i believe i am.
Are you living AND observing
your story or is it too painful
to observe and easier to live
‘til death do us part?

is easy to say
and maybe to feel
for some evolved ones.
