Malcolm X said,
“Being an old farm boy myself, chickens coming home to roost never did make me sad; they always made me glad.”
Basically, ‘what goes around, comes around’ or ‘we get what we sow’, again and again.

A gift of this in-between land is to synchronize East with West, Mother, Child and Father, Love with Love, Life with Death. That’s a BIG picture. We prefer the small picture, ‘me, mine, I, them and us’. I call that the ‘hypnotic mirror effect’.

Today is the first day of the partial government shutdown. This piece began as a dump on Donald Trump supporters, then I sat back and listened. When I listen, truth becomes apparent. I have just offered a prime example of ‘them and us’ on this page, believing ‘us’ to be preferable.

Thousands of years later, the BIG picture, right in front of us, remains invisible. The question is, ‘Why do I limit this self to the mirror, and not the BIG picture’?
